This Desert Storm Bringback Iraqi Army P58 Canvas Combat Pack Field Bag is in fair, "as found" condition and does show wear, damage from age and poor storage. The canvas shows heavy fading and most of the metal hardware is rusted or corroded. There is still the presence of fine white sand in this pack and it can be detected when handling it. The canvas and web are very fragile and in some places ripped or torn from their metal hardware. However, I cannot find any major holes or tears in this pack and most of the hardware appears to be intact.  I acquired this pack from a US Army Corps of Engineers veteran who found it while searching through abandoned Iraqi bunkers during Desert Storm in 1991. He stated that this pack was in this condition when he discovered it and he had properly stored it since returning to the US. While this pack is fragile and damaged, it is an undisturbed authentic "souvenir" of war plucked directly from the battlefield and remains the same today as it was then. Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of condition.
