This Desert Storm Bringback Iraqi Army P58 Canvas RPG Field Bag Carrying Case is in fair, "as found" condition and does show wear, damage from age and poor storage. The canvas shows heavy fading and most of the metal hardware is rusted or corroded. While there are obvious signs of age and poor storage here, this bag is in mostly intact condition without any notable, serious damage. The shoulder straps appear to function as you would expect but the hardware is also rusty and corroded. One of the straps has weak fabric near the metal hook attachment, it is feagile to touch. I acquired this bag from a US Army Corps of Engineers veteran who found it while searching through abandoned Iraqi bunkers during Desert Storm in 1991. He stated that this bag was in this condition when he discovered it and he had properly stored it since returning to the US. While this bag is fragile and damaged, it is an undisturbed authentic "souvenir" of war plucked directly from the battlefield and remains the same today as it was then. Please examine the photographs carefully for the best description of condition.
I will be shipping this bag in a USPS Priority Large Flat Rate Gameboard Box as it fits perfectly and keeps the bag from being folded.
