    What is the difference between a Lannyte and a CZ?
    CZ’s are much softer than Lannyte, thus making them very susceptible to chipping and scratching. Due to the chemical composition, cz’s become milky and cloudy in a short period of time. They cannot be cleaned like Lannyte or diamonds, as ammonia or household chemicals accelerate their break down. CZ’s are usually faceted in an attempt to mimic the natural brilliance of diamond or Lannyte. Because of their softness, the faceting is very rounded, not sharp and crisp. CZ’s are a very inexpensive and short lived stone
