Spain/Spanish Knife/Bayonet Surplus Model L w/Scabbard
Spain/Spanish Knife/Bayonet Surplus Model L w/Scabbard. Used by Nato troops; not the more widely known 1969 model. This was used from the 80s-90s as a multi-purpose item. Looks unused but has handling scuffs. 8.75" straight blade- not the curved cutting edge as in most earlier spanish models. Has 11 groove plastic grip. Overall length 14". Push button works fine. Has a 5 digit serial number on blade along with 3 letters. Theres a large 28 in black ink on back of plastic scabbard. Canvas hanger nice with working keeper strap and snap. Also, has metal belt hook attachment. This item was basically discontinued after Gulf war 1990-91. This model is becoming rarer as was produced in smaller numbers. Still has traces of storage grease.
