This type of Chip Camouflage/Desert Camouflage was used from 1980 to 1996 by the U.S. Military.  Chip Camouflage Desert Camouflage items were latter given to the Iraqi Defense Forces in the Early 21st Century following Operation Iraqi Freedom.
